Rise Signature Vinyasa

Intelligently sequenced flow with an emphasis of honoring the natural structure of each individuals body and learning the tools required to calm the nervous system. Relax Reboot

These classes are crafted to give students an increased understanding of the bodies relaxation response. Integrating various pranayama and meditation techniques with the energy work of ‘Chi Kung’ we will enhance your ability to control your stress response systems (the sympathetic and parasympathetic nervous system). This class is important to everyone, especially those who live with chronic stress. Living in this devastating way compromises the immune system and often results in illness, anxiety or depression to name a few. HANDSTAND STRENGTH

The handstand is considered the fundamental skill in gymnastics and opens a world of possibilities to the mover. This course will focus on the breakdown handstand and handstand skill work leading to greater strength, endurance and proprioception in your handstands. Whether you are complete novice or handstand master we will show you the next step in refining and integrating handstands into your movement disciplines.

YIN YOGA

A slow paced style of yoga using the breath and extended holds in postures to allow for the stretching of deep tissues. Yin Yoga targets the connective tissues, such as tendons, ligaments, bones, and even the joints of the body (that normally are not exercised very much in a more active style of asana practice.)The Yin poses are predominantly floor based. Yin compliments more active forms of exercise by cultivating awareness within the inner body, improving flexibility, range of motion, and strength. It benefits better posture and more energy as well.

Align Your Spine

Good alignment of your spine matters more then ever due to constant sitting still in poor posture.  We’ll thoroughly dissect each posture to deepen your understand the fundamental intention behind the classic yoga postures. We’ll use the wall and other props to deepen our understanding of the postures. This class will help you in all the other classes. It is a great practice for new students.
